General Kitchen Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team. • Assist with meal and food preparation, including basic cooking tasks and ingredient organisation
• Support catering activities by preparing ingredients and setting up service areas
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment
• Help with serving food to customers or staff in accordance with hygiene standards
• Follow food safety procedures at all times, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
• Support the team during busy periods to ensure timely delivery of meals and services

Requirements

• Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food handling
• Friendly attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
