What you’ll do Based at our Toowoomba campus, you’ll play a key role in driving excellence in nursing education and research by:
- Leading and delivering high-quality, student-centred teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Providing academic leadership in curriculum development, program coordination, and scholarly teaching practice.
- Conducting and leading impactful research aligned with UniSQ’s strategic priorities, including securing external funding and supervising HDR students.
- Fostering collaboration across disciplines and with industry, government, and community partners.
- Mentoring and supporting academic colleagues in learning, teaching and research approaches to support their professional development.
What will help you succeed We’re looking for an experienced academic with an established national reputation and a passion for nursing education and research. You will bring:
- A doctoral qualification in a discipline relevant to Nursing.
- Current registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- A distinguished record of teaching excellence and scholarly achievement.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering engaged and reflective approaches to teaching that produce the best possible outcomes for students.
- Proven leadership in research, including high-quality publications, external funding, and industry engagement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to mentoring, collaboration, and inclusion.
