Investment Analyst

OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in financial planning and an understanding of financial services. The Investment Analyst is responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis to support investment decisions. The role involves evaluating financial data, market trends, and investment opportunities, enabling the organization to optimize portfolio performance and achieve strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Research and Analysis:

• Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements, market data, and economic trends.
• Assess the performance and risk profile of various investment opportunities, including equities, fixed income, real estate, and alternative assets.
• Monitor market developments and provide timely updates on macroeconomic conditions.

Investment Evaluation:

• Develop financial models to evaluate the potential returns and risks of investments.
• Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including meetings with stakeholders and reviewing industry reports.
• Provide recommendations to senior management or portfolio managers based on analysis.
• Reporting and Presentation:
• Prepare detailed investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Track and report portfolio performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with portfolio managers, risk teams, and other departments to align investment strategies.
• Participate in strategy meetings and contribute insights to guide decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (CFA certification or progress toward it is a plus).
• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency in investment tools/software (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
