Manual Tester - ISTQB Foundation

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;
• 2 to 5 years of experience in similar roles;
• Knowledge of functional requirements analysis and effort estimation;
• Experience in designing and executing manual tests;
• Experience in defect management;
• Ability to identify test data and prepare/manage it;
• Experience with Confluence, Jira / Xray;
• Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies, e.g., Scrum, Kanban, etc.;
• Testing certification (ISTQB Foundation);
• Knowledge of testing best practices;
• Ability to work autonomously;
• Proactivity, critical thinking, and quality-oriented mindset;
• Strong communication skills with various stakeholders (business analysts, application managers, developers, etc.);
• Strong ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to Have:

• Ability to prepare test data and validate results through database queries, API calls, or other programmatic methods, not only through UI/screens;
• Experience with exploratory testing and other types of testing (e.g., Performance, Accessibility);
• Programming knowledge;
• Experience with test automation;
• Experience with low-code technologies (e.g., Appian, BluePrism, Microsoft Power Platform – PowerApps, Power Automate);
• Ability to define test approaches/strategies;
• Experience in projects within the banking sector.
• Location: Lisbon – Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
