hands-on, creative Head Chef who wants to grow with us and help build a restaurant that
stands out in Melbourne’s dining scene.What You’ll Do
- Manage daily kitchen operations, prep and food cost control
- Lead and train a small team (3–4 people)
- Maintain consistency and efficiency during busy service
- Design and improve seasonal menus
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with management to refine kitchen systems
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years’ experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in Western cuisine (Italian, Mediterranean, Modern Australian or European-style menus)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to lead a small team in a busy but positive environment
- Confidence with cost control and supplier management
- Calm, reliable and growth-focused mindset
- Valid Australian work rights (visa sponsorship available)
