IM Partners is recruiting on behalf of SA Construct, a leading and award-winning South Australian construction company specialising in commercial roofing and cladding projects across South Australia.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Roofers to relocate to South Australia and join a highly respected team delivering quality commercial and industrial projects.

Metal roofing experience will be highly regarded.

The role:

Working as part of an experienced site team, you will be involved in the installation of commercial roofing and cladding systems across a range of projects throughout South Australia.

We are looking for reliable tradespeople who take pride in their work, understand site safety and can work efficiently as part of a professional construction crew.

Key responsibilities:

• Install commercial roofing and cladding systems
• Work with metal roofing, wall cladding and associated flashings
• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Operate safely while working at heights
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, trades and site teams
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site presentation
• Follow all site safety requirements and procedures
• Assist with site preparation, material handling and general roofing duties as required

About you:

You are an experienced roofer who enjoys working on commercial projects, understands quality workmanship and is looking for a long-term opportunity in Australia.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated roofing experience in commercial or industrial construction
• Experience with metal roofing and cladding systems preferred
• Ability to work safely and efficiently at heights
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Good understanding of construction site safety practices
• Experience using roofing tools and equipment
• The ability to read plans and follow instructions accurately

Required licences and tickets

• Current driver’s licence preferred
• Relevant trade qualifications highly regarded
