Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and recipes provided
- Assist with meal planning and ingredient preparation
- Ensure that food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchenExperience:
- Previous experience working as a line cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulationsSkills:
- Proficient in meal preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation
- Ability to work well as part of a teamRequirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one)
