The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our corporate team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining pay and charge rates, ensuring payroll compliance, and supporting ongoing improvements to our payroll system. Working closely with Payroll, Finance, IT, and external system providers, you will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, system functionality, and process efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update Award, EBA, pay, and charge rates within the payroll system.
  • Ensure payroll calculations comply with relevant legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Support payroll system enhancements, including testing, implementation, and process improvements.
  • Configure payroll system requirements for new client implementations.
  • Develop and maintain payroll documentation, procedures, and user guides.
  • Provide payroll system support, training, and guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with Payroll, Finance, IT, and external providers to deliver business outcomes.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a large, complex payroll environment.
  • Experience with payroll system configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and ATO requirements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to payroll accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certificate IV in Payroll Administration (preferred).
