Known for our premium dining experience, innovative cuisine and exceptional hospitality, we are expanding our kitchen team and are seeking an experienced Cook to join us. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a professional, fast-paced kitchen alongside experienced chefs while developing your skills in a respected hospitality venue. About the Role Working alongside our Sous Chef and experienced kitchen team, you'll assist with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining the high standards Melrose is known for. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to Company standards.
• Assist with food preparation and mise en place.
• Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
• Follow recipes and portion control standards.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene requirements are met.
• Assist with stock rotation and storage (FIFO).
• Keep your workstation clean, organised and compliant.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Assist with opening, closing and cleaning duties.

About You

• To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen.
• Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery), or an equivalent qualification.
• A genuine passion for quality food and hospitality.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
