With a staff of dedicated and passionate travelers, this is a perfect opportunity to mix business with pleasure!You’ll be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Managing a suite of trips
- Supporting clients with sales requests - for group and private itineraries
- Liaising with ground operators in each area on itineraries, costs, quality controls, private groups and positive impact projects
- Writing trip copy for inclusion in brochures/website
- Writing trip notes and pre departure information for each trip
- Assessing feedback from client questionnaires and responding to same
- Trouble shooting
- Product comparisons
- Ensuring trips in the field operate to the highest environmental and safety standards
- Creating ground breaking itineraries which satisfy our travellers thirst for adventure
To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Minimum of 2 years of travel industry experience, preferably in a similar role and in adventure travel ideally
- Comprehensive first hand travel experience to many of our destinations, such as Japan, Australia, Greece, Indonesia, Galapogas, Borneo, Fiji, Solomon, Philippines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to use initiative and think laterally
- Great written and verbal communication, organisational and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Office 365 suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and some CMS experience desirable, along with self-sufficiency and capacity to learn systems quickly
- A drive to contribute positively to the team, capacity to build a strong rapport with stakeholders and to participate in conferences, info nights and events
- A genuine passion for adventure travel with open water swimming focus and the capacity to translate this into creating innovative itineraries
